Vary by breed association.
For Labrador Retrievers -- one single retrieve on land,
two back to back singles on water, dogs need not be steady, nor are they
required to deliver to hand. An advanced working certificate is
recognized by some regional clubs. It usually entails a land double,
two water singles, dog is steady & delivers to hand.
For Golden Retrievers and Flat-Coated Retrievers --
double on land, two singles on water. A working certificate excellent
title is also offered and requires a land triple, water double, and an
honor.
