- Hunting Test Titles -
JH -- Junior Hunter (pass four tests consisting of two single land marks
& two single water marks, dogs must retrieve to hand)
SH -- Senior Hunter (pass four tests if dog has JH, five tests if
not, test consists of land double, water double, land blind, & water
blind, dog must be steady)
MH -- Master Hunter (pass five tests if have SH, six tests if not,
test consists of multiple land mark, multiple water mark, multiple
land/water combination mark, land blind & water blind, dog must be
steady)
MNH -- National Master Hunter (not AKC recognized) for dog that
successfully passes two Master National tests
Hall of Fame -- Master
National recognition for dogs that have successfully qualified at three Master
Nationals.
- Master National -
The Master National Retriever Club annually holds a hunting test over a week
for dogs that have qualified. Dogs that pass two Master Nationals may use
